RUSSELL GUYNES -- PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Russell is one of the founders of Gill-Mac Partners and his passion for recruiting clearly stands out at the office as he continues to "work the desk" on a day-to-day basis where he leverages his years of relationships in the industry to recruit and place top talent. His role also focuses on business development, building sustainable client partnerships, directing search assignments, mentoring and leading recruiting teams and other recruiters in the office.
After graduating college in 1995, Russell soon entered the executive search business and has since spent more than two decades focused on building relationships, being a top national producer and leading executive search firms to award-winning status. Prior to Gill-Mac Partners, Russell co-founded and played an integral role in building a very successful search firm in Houston, Texas. In addition he was a division leader and top producer for a multi-million dollar national real estate firm.
Russell has been the recipient of numerous "top producer" awards and has been recognized and consistently ranked as a Top 10 Recruiting Professional in the state of Texas.
Russell attributes success to absolute integrity and operating with the utmost honesty and ethics towards every search and relationship. He is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service and it is his ultimate responsibility to deliver a service and quality of candidates that are unparalleled in the industry.
Russell was born and raised in Houston, Texas, attended the University of Texas and has a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science and chemistry. He moved to the Austin area in 2004 where he currently resides with his wife and two children.
MICHAEL GUYNES -- FOUNDING PARTNER
A founding member of Gill-Mac Partners, Inc., Michael has been in the recruiting industry since the early '90s. Prior to Gill-Mac Partners, Michael played an instrumental role in building and leading a first-class team for an executive recruiting firm, helping the grow the business into a top-ranked recognized leader employing more than 150 people, resulting in its acquisition by a public institutional recruiting organization.
In addition, he was co-founder of an executive search firm where he helped build the organization and team that catapulted the company from ground level to being a recognized leader and ranked as one of Houston's top fastest growing companies two years consecutively by the Houston Business Journal.
Michael has been the recipient of numerous awards, including his divisions being ranked #1 producer in the state of Texas for 5 years consecutively, while also being recognized and consistently ranked as a Top Executive Recruiting Professional.
